As the name suggests, the Compact Transit Wheelchair features a compact frame and it is made from aluminium making it lightweight yet incredibly strong. It folds for convenience and is ideal for taking away on holidays or trips out as it will happily fit in the boot of a car or on a coach or aeroplane. Suitable for occasional use, it provides exceptional comfort thanks to the generously padded upholstery, fixed polyurethane armrests and swing away footrests. The transit wheelchair has a dual brake system ensuring the safety and security of the user whilst the puncture proof rear wheels and front castors can withstand use on rough, uneven terrain. This is the red version of the Compact Transit Wheelchair; other colours are available from this area of the website.
